Inspired by our interconnectedness to the Wolastoq & the medicines surrounding. Showcasing the salmon (Polam) & fiddleheads (Mahsusiyil), encompassed with double curve motifs emphasizes the importance and sacredness of balance. We are the protectors of Mother Earth, stewards of the land since time immemorial. My art seeks to honour our ancestors and the protection of our ways, guiding us with bravery of the bear (Muwin) 🐻🤍
