About Me!
Woliwon for being here 🩷 My name is Amber Solomon, and I’m a proud Wolastoqey artist from Bilijk First Nation, entrepreneur, and the heart behind Siqon Co.
“Siqon” meaning “spring” in Wolastoqey, represents new growth, rebirth, and the continued flow of culture, creativity, and connection. My work is deeply inspired by my roots where I aim to bring together tradition and innovation across multiple offerings from beadwork and apparel, to vibrant murals and digital design.
What began as a personal healing journey has blossomed into a platform to celebrate Indigenous strength, artistry, and stories. Whether I’m speaking on panels as an Indigenous entrepreneur, making sweaters for y'all to wear proudly, or creating Indigenous logos to reclaim our spaces, everything I do comes from a place of love, pride, and responsibility to my community and culture.
Siqon Co. is more than a business, it’s a movement grounded in intergenerational healing, creativity, and cultural reclamation.
